How to make your lip tint last longer

To make a lip tint last longer, start with smooth lips, apply thin layers and let each set before adding the next. Water-based tints stain, so the colour stays longer than gloss, but every lip product fades with eating and drinking.

Step by step

  1. Smooth lips: use the Coffee Lip Scrub once or twice a week.
  2. Prep: a thin layer of balm, then blot so lips aren't slippery.
  3. Layer: roll on a thin layer, press lips together, wait 30 seconds, then add another.
  4. Blot: press a tissue between your lips to remove excess.

On cheeks

Apply over moisturiser or sunscreen that has fully set, blend quickly, and add a second light layer for staying power.
