How to reduce under-eye bags: what actually helps

Under-eye bags come in two kinds: puffiness from fluid, which changes day to day, and structural bags from fat and loose skin, which stay the same. You can improve the first kind a lot at home. The second kind can look softer with good care, but only in-clinic treatment changes it.

Which kind do you have?

  • Worse in the morning, better by afternoon: mostly fluid puffiness. Very improvable.

What helps puffy bags

  • Less salt at night: salty dinners and snacks hold water under the eyes by morning.
