How to remove blackheads on your nose (without squeezing)

The best way to remove blackheads on your nose is not to squeeze them. Squeezing only empties the top of the pore for a day or two, and often leaves redness, dark marks and bigger-looking pores. What works long term is dissolving the oil plug inside the pore with salicylic acid, and keeping pores clear with a simple daily routine.

What is a blackhead?

A blackhead is a pore filled with oil and dead skin. The top of the plug is open to the air, so it turns dark. It is not dirt. That is why scrubbing hard does not help: the plug sits inside the pore, not on top of the skin.

Why does the nose get so many?
